What is camera ready artwork? 2018-07-10T12:49:05+00:00

Camera ready artwork needs to be created in AI or EPS format in vector line art. Type must be converted to curves, paths or outlines. It cannot be a JPEG or similar format “saved” in AI or EPS. It needs to be “created” in the correct format.

For digital prints, we can work with a much larger variety of files. Remember the quality of the print is only as good as the artwork you send. An image may look good at a smaller scale, but when enlarger becomes very rough and out of focus.

Vector files rely on mathematical formulas when resizing, allowing your image to avoid becoming blurry when you increase it in size. Vector formats usually come with either the EPS, Ai, or SVG attachments. This is the best format for your logo when working on graphic design.

All of Webb Signs operations are held in one location in Fairfax, Virginia. This arrangement allows us to provide the fastest service possible to our clients. A sign can take anywhere from 24 hours or longer to be ready and this time frame varies depending on the requests of the customer and the materials being used. If you are in a rush, explain your situation to our sales team and we will see what we can do.

Absolutely! Sometimes it may be more desirable/economical for our customers to simply refurbish a sign they currently have. Our team can take care of every facet of the process, from uninstallation, refinishing, and of course reinstallation.

Talk to our sales team and we can work through and decide what kind of sign would best work for your budget. Our team can then visit your location and determine where the sign should be placed, as well as check with the city to make sure that everything is in compliance with local laws.
